Summer 2026 is officially heating up, and our beautiful city is absolutely buzzing with life. Whether you’re a local or visiting to soak up the magic of Carcassonne, the Festival OFF de Carcassonne and local neighborhood associations have put together an incredible lineup of free concerts, night markets, and street parties.
To help you plan the rest of July, we’ve rounded up all the fantastic events happening around the city. Grab your calendar – here is your chronological guide to the festivities!
1. Night Market of Creators (Marché Nocturne Rue Armagnac)
- Date: Every Friday in July
- Time: 7:00 PM to 11:00 PM
- Location: Rue Antoine Armagnac (includes La Ferme, Bistro d’Alice etc)
- Description: Kicking off the summer vibes are the local merchants of Rue Armagnac with their very first July Night Markets! Take a lovely evening stroll down the street to discover beautiful, handcrafted pieces from Carcassonne’s local artisans. It’s the perfect way to spend a Friday evening supporting local creators, just 30 seconds from Place Carnot.
2. Têtes Raides & Marty (Festival OFF)
- Date: Monday, July 13, 2026
- Time: 8:30 PM (Marty) | 9:30 PM (Têtes Raides)
- Location: Place Carnot (Bastide Saint-Louis)
- Description: Get ready for an evening of French alternative rock! Marty will start the night with acoustic folk vibes, followed by the iconic collective Têtes Raides. With their unique blend of punk roots, poetic lyrics, and folk instrumentation (including a musical saw and banjo!), they are sure to bring an unforgettable, festive atmosphere to the square.
3. Les Halles en Fête (Bastille Day Daytime Party)

- Location: Les Halles Prosper Montagné
- Description: Start your Bastille Day celebrations early at Carcassonne’s beautiful covered market! The Les Halles Prosper Montagné association is hosting a vibrant summer daytime party featuring DJ Malo. Grab some local delicacies, enjoy the music, and get into the holiday spirit before the evening festivities begin.
4. Fête Nationale Celebrations & Fireworks (Festival OFF)

- Time: 6:00 PM (Guy Lacroux) | 10:30 PM (Fireworks click for info) | 11:00 PM (Voodoo Child)
- Location: Place Carnot / Bastide Saint-Louis
- Description: Bastille Day in Carcassonne is legendary! Enjoy early evening live music from Guy Lacroux before watching the world-famous fireworks display light up the sky above the Medieval City at 10:30 PM. Afterward, head back to the stage on Place Carnot and keep the party going with a lively concert by Voodoo Child!
5. Jahneration & Châmade (Festival OFF)
- Date: Wednesday, July 15, 2026
- Time: 8:30 PM (Châmade) | 9:30 PM (Jahneration)
- Location: Place Carnot (Bastide Saint-Louis)
- Description: Let the good vibes roll! Réunion Island-founded band Châmade kicks things off with an infectious, high-energy mix of ska, dub, funk, and hip-hop. Then, top French reggae duo Jahneration takes over. With their unifying choruses and dynamic stage presence, they promise a warm, feel-good night out.
6. Les Flâneries Nocturnes de la Rue Trivalle

- Description: Every Thursday evening, Rue Trivalle transforms into a vibrant street festival. Flâner (stroll) through this authentic neighborhood to taste local Cabardès wines directly from the winemakers, browse artisan stalls and shops, and soak up a magical summer ambiance full of music and terroir delights.
7. Goran Bregović & L’Esbrouf’ (Festival OFF)

- Description: Prepare for an explosive night of Balkan music! The whimsical collective L’Esbrouf’ will warm up the crowd with their gypsy melodies and burlesque energy. Afterward, the legendary Goran Bregović and his Weddings and Funerals Orchestra will have absolutely everyone dancing to his iconic, high-octane brass band rhythms.
8. Cœur de Pirate & Mélanie Lesage (Festival OFF)

- Description: An evening of pure musical elegance. The young trio led by Mélanie Lesage will invite you into their poetic pop-folk universe. 9. Linh & Miss Marina (Festival OFF)

- Description: Discover the exciting new voices of French pop! Occitanie’s own talent Miss Marina will enchant you with her gentle, heartfelt variety songs. Following her is Linh, a rising star with a crystal-clear voice and millions of streams, ready to deliver a modern, deeply emotional performance to cap off an incredible week of music.
