The New offer: “Fresh Air Days” (Journées Fraîcheur)
This new offer features “combined” tickets for a “fresh air day” in the mountains.
- Availability: * Ariège line: Every day from July 4 to August 30.
- Montréjeau-Luchon line (Haute-Garonne): Every day from July 1 to August 30, as well as every weekend in September.
- What’s Included: A return train ticket, a return gondola lift ticket for Ax 3 Domaines or Superbagnères, and privileged access to local activities—such as a 2-hour admission to the Luchon thermal spa’s relaxation area (applicable from 1:00 PM onwards).
- Pricing: From €28.50 per adult, and from €19.50 per child under 12.
€1 Summer Month for Under-27s
To help young people enjoy their summer at a lower cost, all liO trains will cost just €1 per ticket for anyone under 27 years old from July 14 to August 15.
Even Cheaper for School Students
Young subscribers to the regional school transport network can travel for free all summer aboard liO coaches, simply by presenting their school transport card from the previous academic year.
€10 Mobility Bonus for High School Graduates (Bacheliers)
To reward new high school graduates and encourage eco-friendly travel among youth, the Occitanie Region is renewing its “bacheliers” operation for the fifth consecutive year. Graduates receive a €10 mobility bonus credited directly to their Fairtiq account, valid on all liO trains and coaches in Occitanie.
- Deadline: The bonus must be requested before September 30, 2026, and remains valid until December 31, 2026.
Tour de France Day Pass
For €10, passengers can buy a day pass valid on liO trains to reach three Tour de France stage towns in the region:
- Carcassonne (Aude) and Foix (Ariège) on Tuesday, July 7.
- Lannemezan (Hautes-Pyrénées) on Wednesday, July 8.
Tailored Train Offers for Summer Festivals & Cultural Events
Special discounted rates on liO trains are available for several major regional events:
- Carcassonne Citadel Fireworks (July 14): For the traditional medieval city fireworks display, all liO trains traveling to Carcassonne will be 50% off when departing from Toulouse and Narbonne, and just €1 when departing from Limoux.
- Ecaussystème Festival in Gignac (July 31 – August 2): Travelers can benefit from a 50% discount on train tickets from all Occitanie stations to Gignac-Cressensac, alongside shuttle buses to get to the festival from the station.
- 59th Loures-Barousse Cheese Fair (August 1–2): liO trains heading to Loures-Barousse will be offered at 50% off when departing from Toulouse and Tarbes.
- Collioure Fireworks (August 16): For the traditional fireworks over the bay of Collioure, additional liO trains will be running on the Narbonne/Cerbère line towards Collioure. Nearly 10,000 passengers are expected that evening.
